The High Performance Program
The High Performance program (HP) focuses on providing athletes with advanced canoe and kayak skills. It prepares them for reginal, provincial and national level regattas by developing speed, strength, power and endurance. Athletes in the HP program must previously been registered in the Development or Jr HP programs.
Many of our HP athletes strive to be on the Provincial team and compete at the National Championships, while our other members love the program for the social and general fitness benefits.
Athletes in the HP program train 6-12 times a week and are expected to compete at regattas.

Age:14+ years old
Schedule: 6-12 practices a week based on time of year and coaches program
Time: Morning and/or evening practices based on time of year and coaches program
Price: Varies depending on time season
Experience: Previous paddling experience required.
